A 15th Century Carol Gabriel's Message was performed by Sting in 1987 for the compilation CD "A Very Special Christmas" which helps the Special Olympics. Sting chose the song because he use to sing it as a boy in Newcastle in the UK.

This 1946 French song whose title translates to Little Father Christmas. In Quebec where Dion is from, many Canadians call Santa Claus Papa Noel.

We are spotlighting the classic Kenny Loggins song Celebrate Me Home which is celebrating it's 45-year anniversary. Our very own Nicholette Blount will give her own interpretation of this holiday classic. We want to dedicate this song to all of our troops and first responders who will not be able to make it home this Christmas.
Did you know that California native Loggins recorded this song as a solo project after he left his old band Loggins/ Messina? The title of the song was just used as a filler AKA a dummy title, but the record label loved it so much, they kept it.

Good morning my fellow Carolers! Today is Day Six and it's St. Nicholas Day. Today we are in the Big Easy of New Orleans. Our song of the day is It must have been Ole Santa Claus originally written and recorded by Harry Connick Jr in 1993. We are excited to have Dee Collins give her on interpretation of this song.
December 6th is St. Nicholas Day which is celebrated in Holland & Germany.
In New Orleans, King Cakes is ordered and served on January 1st which starts the two-month celebration of Carnival & Mardi Gras.

We are in Merry Ole England and we're spotlighting the 16th Century English Carol God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen sung by Pentatonix. Did you know that Charles Dickens popularized the phrase “Merry Christmas” in the English language lexicon? Though it was more common to say, “Happy Christmas,” Dickens repeats the phrase “Merry Christmas” throughout A Christmas Carol. When Dickens’ novella became wildly successful, the phrase “Merry Christmas” was popularized and became a standard Christmas greeting.
